MuralBase
Summary
An interactive database and website showcasing hundreds of the most important
murals produced by Philadelphia's Mural Arts Program since 1990. Visitors
to the muralBase website can search for murals by theme, artist's name, zipcode
or year. MuralBase is a component of the Neighborhood Information System and
the community mural projects it documents are significant both as public art
and as neighborhood redevelopment initiatives.
