GIS
Users Group at Penn
CML
members initiated the PennGIS user group in the summer of 2001. The PennGIS
users group is an informal forum for GIS users across the campus. It gives
students, staff, and faculty members who are using GIS, or who want to use
GIS, a chance to share their work. It encourages data sharing and collaboration.
Moreover, it encourages people to pool their creative resources and augment
their technical skills.
Where and when does the group meet?
The group
meets every third Friday of the month at the CML. The usual meeting time is
3 P.M. Here are directions to the CML.
How can I receive emails from the PennGIS group?
Any faculty
and staff or registered Penn student can sign up for the PennGIS mailing list
by sending an email to Laurie Allen.
